Walking 20,000 Steps a Day Challenge and Results 🚢🚢

Welcome to The Aging Games, in this video I am going to share a challenge with you guys. My friend and I are on holiday and so we decided to do this little challenge to do 20,000 steps every day. It's been just such an amazing thing and also you can take part in this walking challenge. Walking is one of the easiest exercises there is. It doesn’t require any particular equipment or skills. You walk during the day, and may not even notice how much time you spend on that activity. Running errands may result in taking from 2,500 to 4000 steps in an average adult. Walking 20,000 steps a day may be a real challenge for you, especially if you lead a sedentary lifestyle and you don’t have that much free time. However, it is easier than sweating it out for hours in the gym and, as was mentioned before, doesn’t require any special equipment. All you need is comfy clothes and proper footwear. Picking the right shoes may not only significantly improve your experience, but also reduce the risk of injury. Some studies state that 10,000 steps a day is a reasonable target for a healthy adult, others speculate that this number has no evidence to back it up, and should not be considered the only ideal goal, suggesting that adding even 2,000 extra steps a day will be beneficial. If you combine your 20,000 steps a day plan with a healthy nutrition and proper hydration, you can expect visible results in the near future with your body. It also works your balance and coordination, and strengthens muscles in your lower half. You will feel your legs are just changing incredibly; your butt is getting firmer. So, 20 000 steps is a lot so if you're doing this challenge make sure you commit yourself only to a period of time to do it for a week like we're doing this during our vacation. I challenge you ten thousand, twenty thousand, five thousand whatever you can do, download the counter on your phone and do this challenge with me. I promise you will love this amazing transformation that you will go through and If you have any questions please ask me below. I'm happy to share.

How to Break a Water Fast

As always there's quite a bit of conflicting information out there about how to break a fast. One thing everyone agrees on is that the fast needs to broken slowly and gently. You also need several days to go back to eating normally. For example, if you do a 7 day fast, you need about 3 days of refeeding. On a 10 day fast, you'll need 4-5 days and so on. How you break the fast will make or break the whole experience. If you go right back to your old way of eating, you can easily negate all the benefits of your fast. One school of thought insists on breaking the fast with fruit, more specifically watermelon and then lots of veggies and more fruit. Since my goal is to remain in ketosis, I will be taking a different approach. I will be eating protein, fat and some low-carb veggies, bone broth and lots of water. I would also recommend abstaining from alcohol for at least a few days so you're not overburdening your liver. Listen to your body. Don't force the food if yo...

8-day Water and Dry Fast Combo

As I'm coming to the end of my 8-day journey I wanted to recap some of my experiences with you. I found the water and dry fast combo much more manageable and comfortable to do. I did not really have an off day, which is quite common during a longer fast. My sleep was not very good, which can happen during fasting but I was never tired during the next day. I woke up refreshed even at 5 am. I did feel weak or light headed a few times but sucking on pink salt crystals fixed that problem very quickly, like always. I never forced the water, I just drank when I was thirsty so I probably drank less water than during previous fasts. The weight loss started off very strong. Almost 4 kilos during the first 4 days but then it stopped and even crept up a little. I found that a bit frustrating but I don't really have that much weight to lose so I'm trusting that my body knows what it's doing. I did have my period during the fast so that might also contribute to this. The ble...

4 Months Later - Fasting - Carnivore - OMAD

I know it's been a while since I've done an update. So here we are at the beginning of September already. Things are progressing really nicely. So much better than I ever imagined. I've slowly transitioned to a mostly Carnivore diet , consisting or meat, eggs and dairy with very little veggies and no fruit. I've continued fasting on a regular basis. Basically having just one meal a day on most days (OMAD) and then still doing regular water fasts as I feel the need. My weight continued to decrease slowly but very steadily. I wasn't expecting this at all. I would have been very happy just maintaining my weight under 70kg and here I am at 62kg. How cool is that? Yeah, I'm sure excited.  Here's my latest before and after pic. Hopefully you guys can see the difference. I can tell you that I feel so amazing! I've had to buy a whole new wardrobe. I know, the horror, eh? I've stopped taking all my supplements. My eczema is a thing of the past. My Has...
