I haven't posted anything for a long time as I was not very successful fasting through winter. Not sure what it was but I really struggled and usually gave up around 48 hours. What seemed effortless in summer became a real struggle in the winter. I found my friends and those in fasting groups were also experiencing the same.
I wonder why this is? Logically, we had always more food in the summer and much less in winter. So you would think that fasting in winter was more natural and our bodies would be more capable of dealing with is. I'm attributing it down to lack of sunshine. I find the warm sun so nourishing and I naturally have much less of an appetite in summer. Even sticking to my OMAD (one meal a day) in winter was tough. So spring is finally here.
Time for a good reset.
